This images was created for my nieces in mind, I have been asked many times to draw them a fairy, I eventually gave in to the demands and decided that seeing that I hadn't drawn anything in many months I would most likely do a better job with it in 3D. I use blender 2.42 for the rendering and used the node editor to generate the skin. The bee was created quickly in a day and was rigged in place, Finally the image with its render passes where combined in the Gimp.
