This is something that I set off on after settling on a concept of contrasting weakness and strength and an intimate trust between the two. I thought I'd try to make the giant seem intelligent and compassionate despite his outwardly stupid, juggernaut appearance. Hell, I just like the idea of this powerful creature patiently waiting while his little friend takes a nap.
