Hi, everybody!
I am posting a picture that I have created for a brazilian contest. The theme was Star Wars - A New Vision. We could create a scene with something from this universe. I have chosen to create a Jedi in a moment that he is contacted by Yoda, calling him and the others Jedis to fight against the Dark Side. My inspiration to this character was all those secondary characters who there are in the movies. I learned a lot with my friends in this contest. It tooks about 2 months and we have great results there.
Intentionaly I abandoned the ideas to work with spaceships and Jedis fights. I prefered to capture a special moment in this calling focusing the characters and their reactions.
I used subpatch lightwave to model and PS to create textures and the final comp.
I got the fourth prize with this image.
