With this image I was inspired by looking at matte paintings and epic scenes from movies. I wanted to do something of a larger scale also.
I used a wide range of technics on this image from the normal mixing and editing of literaly hundreds of photos like in matte painting to hand drawing from scatch elements and then seemlesly blending all elements and color and light keying so it all matches perfectly. The composition is also somthing I worked and worked on for a long time.
