my main focus in Cg artwork is creating characters. Though I love to do different things once in a while, character creation is the field that drives me most.
This piece is my latest step in the hunt for the perfect base mesh. The mesh is all quads, so perfectly suited for adding Zbrush detail. The goal was to create a base mesh that can be used for any human character with as little polygons as possible. I know everybodys going all Zbrush right now, but i like to have the basic features of all my characters layed out in maya, so the mesh is ready for rigging rightaway without having to retopologize it.
