A commission for Peter V Brett, best-selling fantasy author of The Demon Cycle (The Warded Man/The Painted Man, The Desert Spear). This image is the new splash page for his website, http://petervbrett.com
Peter and I go back to 2007--he privately commissioned a character portrait oft he main protagonist of his then soon-to-be-published debut novel, The Painted Man. That image later went on to become the cover of his short story collection, The Great Bazaar. I also designed the wards found in the books and on his website and the custom bookplate design he uses to sign his books with.
