I'm a children's book illustrator and this is an illustration I've done lately on photoshop. From sketching to the final touch I've finished it in about 2 days time.
I used the basic brushes of the programme to give all the textures.

In the story I drew two lovers from two different clouds and their only chance to meet is when the rainbow appears. I wanted to emphasize the contrast of their situation with the transition between rain and sun. Enjoy...
