An illustration done for the Gnomon forums, it depicts a narrative from Norse folklore, more accurately, the story of young Siegfried and Odin's plan to use the boy to reforge Siegmund's mighty sword.
Compositional wise, I've juxtaposed certain episodes from the story so I could create fluent story telling in the illustration.
It took nearly four days of immense pleasure to create this on, and sincerely, it remains one of my favorites.
