I think 'Soapy' would be a cool name for a squid :D
Soapy just had a funny thought, so he's whispering it gleefully to Sophie, cause they're bestest friends who always tell each other everything.
Sweetness overload, hopefully, despite the presence of a weird floating mollusk.
Was gonna be a "Let's finally force myself to learn Painter" test image, but Painter kept crashing all over the place and corrupting its files, so I started over in trusty ol' PS :p
Inspired by Joe Sorren/Mark Ryden/Aaron Jasinski's styles, all big-headed and wide-eyed and stuff.
