This scene was modeled in Maya, some parts of the helicopter where based in polygon modeling while the most "organic" ones were made with NURBS. The pilot base mesh was done in Maya and then exported as a .OBJ to ZBrush, detailed and brought back to Maya along with the Normal Map from the higher subdivision levels;
The several texture maps were all hand painted in Photoshop;
Model was exported as a .FBX to 3D Studio Max, so the shaders, lighting and render could be done with VRay;
Hope you all like it (comments and critics are appreciated) , i just love this helicopter, it was a huge learning process to arrive to this point... and there's sooo much more to learn... :)
