My grand prize winning entry for the 2008 Frostmourne art contest sponsored by Blizzard.
Modeled and detailed in Modo, rigged and rendered in MAX. Textures and a bit of post-processing on the image in Photoshop. The clouds were done in Vue. Competed in my spare time over the last month.
The title Arthas' Tears refers to the flowers which showered Arthas' procession as he returned home in Warcraft III, shortly before he killed his father, the king, and melded with the spirit of Ner'Zul to become the Lich King.
