Continuing on Spasopeskovsky Lane, you can come onto a small square. There rises the old Church of the Savior on Sands (late 17th to early 18th centuries). This place of worship is lavishly decorated. Artist V. Polenov depicted its lacy bell tower in his famous painting Moscow Courtyard.
