Everyone's favorite French electro-funk space robots are back -This time racing dodgems around on their interstella turntable. The second of my Daft Punk series, this was actually the original idea which I had been meaning to finish for a while. I had most of the component parts sat on my machine for some time, waiting to be thrown together. I used the opportunity to refine a few of the shaders and generally tidy things up after the previous effort. Base meshes in Maya, sculpted and posed in zbrush, rendered in Mental Ray. Textures, compositing and post work in Photoshop. Comments and crits welcome.
