About 8 years ago, when I knew pretty much bugger-all about colouring comics, I coloured a low res version of this picture. I didn't know how to make the lineart a channel, didn't know what a colour hold was, barely was able to use the gradient and smudge tool in photoshop and certainly didn't have a clue what lighting was all about...(some might say nothing much has changed :P ..)

Yet I was able to get that version published in a book (with official permission from Matt Hawkins at topcow comics of course)
