Spanish sailing ships venture down the watery avenues of Times Square, New York and discover The New World.
I wanted to create a matte painting depicting an alternative moment Christopher Columbus discovers The New World. Because of the POV and high resolution I was working with, I couldnt find any appropriate photostock so I had to work from textures found at cgtextures.com to build a plate that I could then paint over using photoshop.
