I've been on a city matte painting longrun, and instead of doing fictional cities in other places, I figured I'd share my vision of NYC far into the future. Closer moon orbit, violent tides, dirty technology, you name it.
As far into the future it is, I still think you will see old fashion buildings from today, just like we still see building from the early medieval ages today in europe for example.
