Hey gang,
This illo is taken from a french little book edited by Soleil and named "les Fées" (the Faeries).
I was supposed to portray a character that would embody the spirit of one particular season and I chose Autumn. I wanted her to be as romantic as possible with a hint of celtic. But I tried to avoid the faerie cliché (you know the kind of naked girlie with a pair of stupid butterly wings). That 's why I decided she would be laying there drunk among the tombs, with the cup of life in her hands that she drank to the end...
