This is an illustration I did in my spare time, just as an excuse to really try and render something again. It is based on the left hand side of this image, which was an assignment for class. Basically we had to make three post cards according to three themes (Dreams, Confessions, Psychological Fear), but I just wanted to paint again, so I decided to take the one I liked most to the next level.
Basically I'm trying to mix things up a bit compared to my other images by incorporating some different elements, like the flat art nouveau decals. I'm a pretty big fan of blending graphic design elements with illustration, but I'm also a pretty big noob at graphic design. So any kind of input is definitely appreciated!
