About this piece:
description: This started as a speed sketch and I ended up picking at it for way too long. Eventually I had no choice but to finish it off. Problems include the inaccurate kimono design and fish, but for the rest I am pleased with this picture.

time spent: about 20 hours in all.
brushes used: default round photoshop brush with a low flow (about 2 to 10 percent).
tools: photoshop CS3 and an intuos3 tablet.
