I chose to recreate a section of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridges, located near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. These bridges carry interstate 10 over the Atchafalaya Swamp. The scene contains about 752K polygons. The scene is illuminated with a daylight system. Bridges and vehicles are 3D models. The water is a procedural material on a plane. The trees are images with an opacity-map on planes. I did some touch-up work after rendering, adjusting overall image brightness and saturation.
