I like to illustrate my friends characters/stories when I have the time. This one is for a friend I have written with for almost ten years now >.<. She is an unseelie noble (usually I depict this with unusual symbols floating around the character, but here I thought some floating sigil and things would distract).

Overall I think it took somewhere between 20 and 30 hours. I have a new system for art now to try and minimise burn out where for personal projects at least, I cycle through several at the same time and work on them in increments. So it's hard to know for sure, not working in solid blocks on the same picture >.<
