This is a 2.5D matte painting I finally have done. Thanks to everyone who had given me some great opinions and suggestions while | was doing it.
The final image is 40% 3d rendering, 60% painting and photo blending. Details were painted over the top of the rendered diffuse pass. Please click the image to see the High-res.
