This one started out as a very quick 1 hour sketch. But I liked the mood in the image. So II decided to spend a bit more time and tidy up a few edges here end there. Construction is quite simple, I chose something with minimal perspective as an exercise in painting. So the challenge was more in values and brush control.

For this sort of image, I prefer to paint on one or 2 layers and as hi res as I can. I think image ended up at around 7000x9000px.
