I´ve made this 3D illustration for DM9DDB.
It is the 3rd piece of this advertising campaign.The other 2 have been made by my friend Pedro Conti, which also gave me a lot of advices on this one.
The most hard part of this job was figure out a way to put a Rhino in this little "box", seeing it completely frontal and make it still looking a Rhino.
I used a base mesh made in 3dsMax2009, sculpted with Zbrush, rendered with mental ray,Hair&Fur and Photoshop to pp.
It´s all CG, except the drops.
Credits to:
Tiago Hoisel that made a "repaint" work at the horn to fix some textures and helped to paint the colormap.
André Paixão and Adriano Zagottis for the post production work.
